So yeah, I binged GoT season 1, and now I get it why it is a very big part of the pop culture. It was good, would give it 4.8 out of 5.

Storyline

So, the story is set in maybe umm another world in medival time where there is a continent named 'Westros' which consists of 7 kingdoms, the one who sits on the iron throne present in king's landing rules the realm and noble families fight to get it. The storyline seems simple but believe me, it isn't. I watched a video about the things needed to know before season 1 on youtube and it helped me so much. The series is strictly 18+ but who cares.

Characters

The characters are awesome and so well written that you start connecting to them from the first episode itself, they have flaws and misbeliefs like a normal person would and that makes them more relatable. For me, the key character in season 1 was Ned Stark, spoiler alert- his death is so unpredictable that even after his death for a second, you don't get it that he is dead. The thing that shocked me was he let his honor down before his death and accepted the things he never did and became so bad in people's eye that everyone prayed for his death. Also the characters like Robert and Vicerys I never thought they would die this early.

Nudity & Taboo

The series is filled with nudity, but it seems exact like how earth have been in medival times. Also, the key thing about it is no nudity scene made just for fan-service, every scene makes sense and haven't been useless in the story's progression. This series also has taboo topics like Incest, I was shocked at the end of episode one seeing the Lannister siblings being intimate, like bruh they are twins and we get to know that queen's son isn't her husband Robert's son, but her twin brother's.

What now?

I am pretty exited for seeing season two, and would start it soon, but as my 12th boards are going on i gotta slow down and study too. I would see you guys at next blog and would be regular from here on. Also, I'll write a review on season 2 as well as more of them as I finish them. Bye.
