So, I just watched 'I Love You, Man' starring Jason Segel, Paul Rudd and Rashida Jones and it was lowkuenly a fantastic experience, it deserves a 5/5 rating, where it's story is simple but characters aren't. I got too fond of the characters. Even after the runtime is kinda low like 1hr and 44mins, it delivers a solid impact on the viewers.
Synopsis
It's simple story where Peter, played by Paul don't have any close friends, and he is getting married, and ofcourse he would need a best man, so he is in a search for a friend to be his best man. Then, he meets Sydney played by Jason Segel and their bond grows with time.
Opinion
So, I loved the cast from before, I love Paul from various movies like Antman, Anaconda and much more and Jason mainly from How I Met Your Mother which is the best sitcom ever will be, will talk about it on another blog. Then, the jokes there are hilarious, some are so unfunny that you automatically start laughing over it. On contrast, this movie also delivers emotional points, the major one for me was when Peter gets to know about how Sydney used the 8,000 dollars, then the next scene to it the story gets sad.
The thing to learn is we gotta get a friend like Sydney who is funny, but also supportive when you are at the lowest. If anyone reading this, go and watch this movie, it's definitely be worth you time.
Signing off,
Aayush.
